Pictures of Trainings Past
Virtual Agile Training:
The Coronavirus completely changed the way we deliver training. Instead of a two day in person class we pivoted and delivered four two hour sessions over the course of 3 weeks with coaching in between sessions which allowed us to teach, and then do! We had roughly 42 people in this course and we integrated fun trivia like Kahoot! to keep the team on their toes!
Austin, TX - Agile Training:
This was a really fun group of UI/UX resources and in this picture they are explaining how they were able to break down their work from epics down into user stories
Brno, Czech Republic - Class of 55:
This was the largest group I ever taught so I had to bring in the reinforcements! This was a highly engaged group that learned a lot over 2 days. This training was a catalyst for better team performance, higher predictability, and better teamwork.
Brno, Czech Republic - Metrics for Success:
Early on day two we started to discuss the importance of metrics, how they are used, and why the team should care. A good corporate culture will allow teams to track metrics and use them to identify gaps in their process that they can continuously improve on.
Brno, Czech Republic - Writing Epics:
Each team started by writing a mission/vision for their 'product' and then began to break that down into epics that could be prioritized in a backlog.
Indianapolis, Indiana - Team Activity:
During the activity for this team we chose roles that we did not normally have experience with in order to gain experience into challenges our stakeholders face day to day. In Indianapolis, this drove great conversation and allowed team members to wear the shoes of their stakeholders.
Indianapolis, Indiana - Planning Poker:
Planning poker is often dismissed and can seem childish BUT it's arguably one of the most important aspects of estimation and communication of the stories that will be consumed and delivered to production.
State College, Pennsylvania - More Planning Poker:
This team is made up of executive leadership, engineers, and other scrum team members and they are all practicing their planning poker skills!
